| Bio: | Appearance: Tall, somwhat muscular man with large shoulders. He has black hair and brown eyes. He's a very snappy dresser who favors suits and shirts in pastel colors. Special abilities/talents: Midvalley can use his saxophone to cause pain and death in those who hear his music. However Sylvia, his saxophone, was destroyed when he died and his abilities with a substitute are limited. He can also play music without those effects and is an excellent jazz musician. Quirks: What behavioral quirks and/or oddities does the character have? He lived for years under a master he didn't really want to serve, and this has made his mental stability somewhat iffy. Personality: Midvalley is self-centered, a bit vain about his music, and has a temper. He can also fall under the spell of very compelling and charismatic people and end up doing what they want -- though after one experience like this he is quite wary. However he doesn't attack random people. In fact doesn't have too much of a heart for hurting innocents, though he will justify that to himself if he has to, even up to kidnapping and murder. He also has an eye for the ladies... and the gentlemen, though he knows there is a time and place for that too. It's not a simple thing to get him to kill, but the bottom line is that he is a killer, though not without its effects on his conscience. He does remember his mother, and named his saxophone after her. Reputation: How do people receive the character in his or her world? He can be seen as charming by people who don't know his dark side, and still had friends and companions among those who did know who and what he was. Background Information: Midvalley was a jazz musician on the world of Gunsmoke, which was populated by settlers from Earth. Millions Knives, a man who was not human and considered himself a superior race, recruited Midvalley to his group, the Gung-Ho Guns, to help him wipe out humanity, though without telling him exactly what he was doing first. By the time he found out more Midvalley was trapped by the powers of Knives's second-in-command, Legato. In the end he obeyed the orders of Legato to confront Knives's brother Vash the Stampede. He was unable to defeat Vash in combat, as he knew he would be, but traumatized him by committing suicide in front of him with an explosive placed in his saxophone. | |||||||||
